The F-16 incident took place at Oshkosh, and was witnessed by thousands as they watched the ANG F-16 land. This is a video that appears to have been shot with a phone camera. The pilot opened the canopy and climbed out. Wonder why he went off the end? Well, the Accident Investigation Board will have lots to say, but we may never see their findings. www.khq.com/story/15180329/watch-f-16-overshoots-runwayJim Too :god_bless_usa

Osan F-16 Crashes: An F-16C assigned to the 36th Fighter Squadron at Osan AB, South Korea, crashed on Wednesday near Kunsan Air Base in that country during a routine training mission, announced Kunsan officials. The pilot safely ejected before the F-16 crashed into a rice field, they said. "We are grateful the pilot is safe and that no one was injured," said Col. Patrick McKenzie, commander of Osan's 51st Fighter Wing, parent unit of the 36th FS. He added, "Our main priority now is conducting an investigation to determine what happened." The Air Force will provide additional details as they become available, said the Kunsan officials. from a.f. mag. online..

It is Winter in Afghanistan.
It snows in the mountains of Afghanistan in Winter.
Thus we can conclude that Bagram Air Field might be suceptable to getting snow storms.
I wonder how many Americans know that?

Yea, for those who have been there, they know, but it probably isn't common knowledge since most people think of desert when the word Afghanistan is used. What browser are you using? Add Image To Post to post worked on my FF browser.
