I`m not sure if this is a joke but I thought I`d share this PM that I received recently totally out of the blue.
"Tinwolf, I'm going to give you a very brief explanation of my personal interractions with you. I've had experiences working with and for Brit companies. The experience has shown me that brits are arrogant, condescending, generally inferior business people who rely on subterfuge and smoke and mirrors to accomplish their goals. I know this inaccurately paints brits with a broad brush, unfairly. But the damage was done continually over many years.
you have shown me the same basic traits in a short period of time. it must be ingrained from all the royal in breeding.
at any rate, i can make all my own choices now, and i choose to disacciate myself from you. i dont mean to offend you personally, bur i dont need you in my life. you bring back far too many unpleasant and distasteful memories.
when you're in the US, remember who's superior, and it's not POME!!"
Wheww! Something`s got up somebody`s ars*.
I won`t tell you who sent it to me but they know who they are and some other people might be able to guess.
I just thought you might be interested to find out what bubbles under some peoples forum face.
God bless America :patriotic-flagwaver

well, i'jj remove the mystery. i tried to give you an explanation, and to keep it personally between us, I being a gentleman, and not wanting to burden any one else on this site. of course you forgot, but there was provocation. you have shown with your petulant reaction what brits are like. i try to keep it civil, and not make it personal, but you cant seem to understand the principle.
i'll repeat it again, I DONT LIKE BRITS, for the reasons i mentioned and many more. I repeat that i dont have anything against you personally, which is why i sent you a PERSONAL MESSAGE, but i guess you dont understand that principle either.
please remember, my life will be complete whether you're in it or not, as now you HAVE made it personal. in fact it would be much better without. Aussies are everything superior to brits, and Americans are too. 1000 Aussies before a brit.
If this p*****es some people off, so be it. I sent you a personal message, and you chose to make it public, shows the kind of buffoon you are, and another reason why i dont like brits
goodbye, good luck, and have a good life
Ron,
btw, you're right
:lol GOD BLESS AMERICA

This is none of my business, but I feel the need to make a small comment.
Guys, the world is going to $hit pretty fast. Many do not understand that we are once again in a world war. Terrorist ( muslim radicals) are spread around the world causing death and destruction and trying to topple free governments. We may have some differences with eachother, but it is in our best interest to get along with our friends and allies.

bullhunter, I honestly tried to keep this between us, but I guess he didnt understand that concept. typical brit, running for help. he sent me a nastygram this morning, but had to make it public, I'm done with it/him, doesnt seem like he understands the concept of facing something directly. he just proved my point(s).
i'm out of this and wont associate with him, as i tried to do before.
have a great day
Ron

Bless you for the sentiment Bull, I`m with you all the way.
I just couldn`t believe the PM I received from Ron, sure we`d had a couple of "run ins" and I couldn`t understand the attitude he was giving me on the site but why should I care? Then to get a PM saying "I don`t mean to offend you personally but I think you`re sh*t and so is your country" I was a bit taken aback. I`m happy to ignore the guy but he feels the need to tell me his opinion of me, like I should care.
I think he`s a coward sending me a PM that he wanted to be "just between us", I`m not "running for help" I think the other people on the site needed to see the attitude of this guy.
If Ron has some friends on the site they need to take his shovel away before his hole gets too deep.

Guys, Like Bull stated so gracefully, Can't we all just get along. As a retired USAF member I can say I spent 6 great years in the UK. I was stationed at RAF Upper Heyford and I can say I was friends with many brit's. I had a great friend who was Commodore in Royal Army. Thats equlivant to our CMSgt AF. But as many great friends as I had, I also met tons of egotistical, bastards. Most were British Leyland car workers and heavy into Unions. They were lazy and rude when out in public. But overall I enjoyed the heck out of my 6 straight years there. I have nothing against either of you guys, in fact Ron and I were in 539th at the same times. We probably know each other as I lived in dorm for two years. So all of us save our energy, we need it to defend against some very tough Liberal Democrats this year and next. I never met a Liberal I could say I enjoyed. Maybe thats why the Union thugs in Oxfordshire were so rude. Pprobably related to some American Liberals.

I can't and won't take sides. As a moderator I shouldn't anyway.
The USA has its share of Union trouble makers also, as I've been reading about the battles, fights, & threats.
My advice and mainly "my request" is that you two gentleman let this issue die out.
Both of our countries have their own share of problems - and we in this forum have our own views and feelings. Its nice to share them and debate them calmly and peacefully, but when verbal attacks in print start showing up its time to cool it.
I'm not perfect and have made a booboo once or twice in the forums myself over the years. It really never leaves anyone with good warm feelings and always effects more that just the two folks involved.
This is what we want to avoide.
:god_bless_usa to all.

There is no place on my forum for this kind of crap!
At our age(s) there is no way in hell anyone here is going to change anyone's point of view... we are just too damn old and set in our ways for that. I think we all know that. I also think we all know that we are all very very different from each other, with different beliefs on a wide range of topics. We have seen and discussed some of those topics numerous times to include gays, religion, and slew of others.
Tolerance must be our friend while we are on this site. We all have our own opinions and experiences that have made us who we are today and if we cannot be tolerant of each other then there is no place on this site for you, plain and simple.
Regardless of my personal opinions, personal attacks will not be tolerated.

Splendid!
Now that`s off my chest (despite the fact I can`t get the unwarranted attack out of my head) let`s move on shall we?

Tinwolf, After the kind remarks from Bull and master, your best remark should have been silence, or something less than Splendid. As I lived in Oxfordshire for 6 years, I know what, and when "Splendid" is used and it's been a negative word in all of my experience in UK. In America we don't always have to get the last word in.

Tinwolf, If you know anything about Yanks, it is that if we USAF type need to attack, we use Buff's from 25,000'. And that would be a load of Cluster Bombs. My next door neighbor in Bicester was a Yorkie. I like to tell the story of the first time my wife met him after we moved in. He spoke to her three times and she asked, pardon each time, then she asked me what he said. He had said "Good Morning Love". Which was a very nice greetings. But the Yorkies have a special sound to the Queens English.

Wow...and all I wanted to do is post a joke.....and please take the personal attacks either off line or face to face....(don't forget to video it and post it on Utube!!...be fun to watch)... :lol :thanks :god_bless_usa
oh well..here it is anyway..
steve ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Upon hearing that her elderly grandfather had just passed away, Katie went straight to her grandparent's house to visit her 95 year-old grandmother and comfort her. When she asked how her grandfather had died, her grandmother replied, "He had a heart attack while we were making love on Sunday morning." Horrified, Katie told her grandmother that 2 people nearly 100 years old having sex would surely be asking for trouble. "Oh no, my dear," replied granny. "Many years ago, realizing our advanced age, we figured out the best time to do it was when the church bells would start to ring. It was just the right rhythm. Nice and slow and even. Nothing too strenuous, simply in on the Ding and out on the Dong."
She paused to wipe away a tear, and continued,
"He'd still be alive if the ice cream truck hadn't come along."
