OK, if you're like me, your attempts at model-building always end in some sort of Epic Fail. I turned to diecast models a long time ago; they're obviously more expensive, but they aren't frustrating and look damn cool on the shelf. To that end, Hobby Master is releasing a 1/72 F-106A in November! To give you an idea of what their products look like (this'll be my first HM diecast model, so I can't give any first-hand opinions of their accuracy or build quality yet), check out this 1/72 Deuce: www.flyingmule.com/products/HM-HA3102Here's the pre-order page for the Six at the same site, they'll get some images in there closer to the release date. I've used these guys before, they've never let me down, but Hobby Master models can be ordered at various other places on the web as well. www.flyingmule.com/products/HM-HA3601These guys do apparently reissue their models with a few different paint schemes, so if you weren't with the 101st FIS at Cape Cod, your unit might be next! As far as I can tell, this is the first diecast Six anywhere, and as such has been preordained to enter my expanding collection. Which also means that I need another bookshelf ;D
