I`ve not seen one on this site but I apologise if you already have a "spot the aircraft" quiz on here. Why not test our aircraft knowledge? The poster of the correct answer posts the next picture. First one..... Attachments:

First one..... Sepecat Jaguar, RAF The Jaguar was a joint development between BAC (later British Aerospace) in the UK and Dassault-Bréguet in France to suit the needs of both the RAF and the Armée de l'Air for a low level strike fighter. If Pat doesn`t want a go let`s try you with this one..... My first thought was a Douglas F4D Skyray but the intakes look too narrow and the F4D and F6 were delta wings... damn.

Grumman F-9 Cougar!
Not to be confused with the Grumman F9F Panther, which was a straight wing earlier version.

The A-10 has always impressed me, I can remember many years ago as a young airman I volunteered to go and guard an A-10 overnight that had to land at Newcastle airport with an engine problem, the aircraft would`ve been from Bentwaters or Woodbridge. They were a bit twitchy because Newcastle had a Soviet airliner due in the next day and they didn`t want anyone sniffing around it. I managed to keep some very interested looking Soviet types away from it until the groundcrew and the pilot turned up. The pilot gave me a very detailed look around it and a long sit in the cockpit with all my questions answered. :2thumbsup I was also on one of the tankers that took A-10s of the NY ANG across to Germany on the longest deployment to date of the A-10. Anyway onwards and upwards... Attachments:

Either and or both. Is a EB-57E www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/factsheets/factsheet.asp?id=2709My buddy worked them. His name was James "Doc" Watson. The Doc was for Auto Doc. We first worked together at Griffiss AFB, NY in SAC. He was my bestman when I got married. Few years later we were in West Germany together. I was at Sembach AB and he was at Ramstein AB. I then went to McChord AFB, WA and a few years later I was his sponser when he reassigned there. Been close friends for 38 years.
