Talk about an old friend! Balls-3 was always one of my favorites. Many times I visited it when it was sitting there at PIMA A&SM (while it was still on 'Pacer-6 Program donor status') and I swear I could feel it shiver (maybe it was just the desert wind on the elevons) with a little yearning for the old glory days. Balls-3 and Balls-5 were my favorite 6s when I was based up at "Why Not Minot?", back in the late 60s.
Can't wait to see it, after it's been completely restored and I can only silently thank the gods that it managed to survive the Pacer-6 turkey shoot.
Do you have any pictures of it at present that you could share with me? I have lots of it that I took on my various visits in past years, but none since it was demilled and officially handed over to PIMA A&SM.
Thanks

:(I have been trying to log on to the new forum, but thanks to AOL I am only on as a guest. Greetings to all SIXERS from the castle air museum. This sunday is our open cockpit day, so I will be there in 57 2456 just showing our stuff. This year I will display the SIX GUN pod. I have mounted it on a trailer, so it will be next to the aircraft. I also plan to display an old Falcon missile next to the gun pod. So, it should be a good day. Forecast is 90 degrees. Come out and see us. Ralph.
