Pat: I stand informed. Quite a feat. Kudos to air and ground control too. Also: POL, cops, etc. No doubt solid state played a significant part too. Thanks, Jim

This from a Viper Pilot friend of mine
Not a member of the forum so I will add my 2 cents worth here. Osan AB, Korea, 1977. 16 formed crews with 16 F-4Es flew 64 sorties (4 sorties per crew / jet) in 10 hours. Average sortie length was ~1.3 hours so we were "in the air" > 50% of that time. The ground crew "hustle" was nothing less than awesome!
