Everyone was impressed with how complete our F106A cockpit is . Two weeks ago, someone donated an aircraft clock,, which I installed, so the instrument panel is complete. I am still working to complete the side consoles. Does anyone have a SW ARMED lite that they would like to donate? We recently finished a two year rehab of the B47, and it looks great. Check the website for a picture. We are back on the B 36, B 45, B 25, and many others as the weather takes its toll on the surfaces. Ralph

:-XWe continue to add more items to our indoor and outdoor displays of the F106. Thanks to Dan Livingston, of Campbell, CA, we now have a M61A1 Vulcan 20MM Gun pod, minus the cannon-of course. I have stripped down an old bomb trailer, added a few brackets, and will mount the Gun Pod on the trailer . It will then be a mobile display that I will roll out on special occasions. I plan to place it next to the SIX with literature and photos for all to see. Dan also donated a throttle quadrant that I mounted on a stand so that everyone could see it and "play" with it before they went up on the B2 stand to view the Cockpit. Ralph

For the indoor display, Dan donated an orange flight suit with all of the SIX and ADC patches. The flight suit belonged to LC W C Murphy of the 48th FIS at Langley. A flight Book and Medals were also a part of the donation. This is just an example of what is available out there. It is the History of the United States Air Force, it is also our history and what ever is donated, we will give it a place of Honor. Ralph

As soon as I get the trailer painted and the gun pod mounted, I will send in some pictures to the website for all to see. Ralph

Ralph So, ten years later Chief o' the Darts & Daggers, Ralph Robledo and his son Dean, current F-106 Crew Chief, send some pictures of his workmanship and Dean's TLC. Ralph and his crew restored the F-106 at CAM and Dean replaced him as Crew Chief so he could move on to restore many more aircraft. Ralph also built the trailer display for the Vulcan 20mm Gun Pod. Thanks to Ralph's paint work and Dean's washing and waxing, that F-106 still looks as good as new after 10 summers in the blazing hot San Joaquin Valley sun.
