A friend of mine just e-mailed me and asked if 043??? was on the move to Montana. I don't think there are any left in the boneyard. Anybody shed some light on this? Lee Lee, my email may have triggered the inquiry. "I just spoke with Tom Mitchell of the Tyler Historical Aviation Memorial Museum (THAMM) in Tyler, TX. They were on a path to having a Century Series set by getting a F-101 from Ft. Worth and a F-102 from Arkansas in the next couple of months. Then they were going after F-106 59-0043 that was parked at Celebrity Row at AMARC but were told today by the guy at Wright Patt that it was headed for Minot, ND. I know that Minot has had 56-0460 for many years and I don't think Minot is big enough to have two air museums www.convairf-106deltadart.com/560460Page.html . Tom said the WP guy he spoke with does not know much about aircraft so I thought I'd check and see if you have heard anything about 59-0043 going to Minot. Also, the guy told Tom that the last F-106 59-0130 was leaving AMARC and headed back to Dryden www.convairf-106deltadart.com/590130page.html . This was news to me. Erv, please let us know if you've heard anything about 59-0043 going to Minot. Thanks, Pat To Joe Pruzzo Castle Air Museum, Joe, THAMM also needs landing gear for an F-102. Do you know if your New Mexico contact has any left?"Pat P.
