If those of our anti-military "leaders" get their way, we will probably be flying something akin to the Sopwith Camel or the Spad. Well, maybe not quite, but nothing like what our aviation companies are capable of building. Part of the reason, besides a lack of government interest, is that our aviation companies have merged so much, there is no real competition like we had when the Six and the F-15 were designed. I suspect the ChiCom PRA J-20 will be the bird that sets the standard in a few years. Pity! Did you notice that those Time to Climb records were set at Grand Forks in mid-Winter? BRRRRRRRR! Jim Too
