I owe you guys an apology. I never did tell you officially the K.I. Museum officially opened on May 1.
I just spent 3 weeks in the hospital with massive blood clots in my legs. Blooding thinners and a filter took care of my right leg but not my left. I developed compartment syndrome and my calf ballooned to four times it's original size. The surgeons had to open it up on both sides to kep it from literally exploding. If that happened I would have lost the leg.
I'm now stuck in bed with a Wound Vac hooked up to it and plugged in the wall to keep it infection free until the swelling goes down and a skin graft can be put over the incision.
I guess the body is getting old just like the 106 airframes did.

Man, that sounds like repair work beyond an apg tech's capability....... How is June holding up having to be your nurse? Take care and keep us informed of your progress................ The Old Sarge and Sandy

Lee, I will be praying for a speedy, and full recovery, and for your favorite nurse not to wear herself out caring for you.
