My daughter made :e7new this year. Her husband is deployed to the gulf zone now. She has her 9-level Master Technician Badge also. Mom & Dad are very happy & proud. :2thumbsup
I spent 24 years in the jet engine career field. I tried to talk her out of it but it was a waste of time. She has excelled at it.

I took this photo of her at 0500 hours before she had her coffee and left for work. She intervied for a "First Sgt." position that morning at 1000 hours. That was the reason for class a blues.

She leaves on the 27th for First Sgt's Academy. She is getting out of the Jet Propulsion Work. I guess almost 11 years on several flightlines and its time for a change. I sent her this cartoon and told her not to volunteer! I also sent her money to buy her first set of First Sgt Diamonds.

she hasnt just made her daddy proud, she makes us all proud of the work that her daddy did, for bringing up such an intelligent, humble and successful daughter. She's what America is all about.
Congratulations to her and to you. May God watch over her and her entire family.

Just another CAMO uniform to make the troops spend money. First we had the regular Green Fatigues. Then the Perm-Press Green Fatigues which I loved. Then it was off to the BDU's with green, black, & gray camo. Also started the desert camo BDU's. Now the USAF has these things. I have heard that next the USAF will go to the new USMC type.
Why does aircraft maintainers need camo uniforms working on a gray or silver jet, parked on a ramp, next to a runway, in a big open field?
Have you seen the new U.S. Navy camos the submarine crews have. Isn't the sub hidden under water?
