HAMPTON — — The U.S. Air Force will inactivate the 71st Fighter Squadron during a ceremony Thursday at Langley Air Force Base. The squadron, known as the Ironmen, flew F-15 Eagles out of Saudi Arabia during the Persian Gulf War, according to an Air Force press release. It was credited with the war's first air-to-air victory. The squadron, which moved to Langley in 1975, is one of three assigned to the 1st Fighter Wing. The inactivation comes as the Air Force tries to cut costs and modernize its fleet of planes, the release states. personally I think this sucks : ;D : Steve

Maybe we should all give Obama a parade and pass-in-review giving him the "Crotch Salute" just as he gives our Stars and Stripes during the playing of the National Anthem
