B-17 Sentimental Journey is in Ankeny, Iowa. Will go see her,but will not hitch a ride this time. It was kind of pricy the last time, but loads of fun. Love those old birds. Fun to talk to the people who come to view her. She is here today the 27 and 28 July.

I flew with the Collings Foundation B-17 and my wife got me the ride for Father's Day or my Birthday. Don't recall which.
About 3 or 4 years ago. Cost then was $350 for a bit over and hour.

Last year the cost was around $475 as I recall,but was a ride of a lifetime. One on my bucket-list.

I took my digital camera and my camcorder on the flight with me. Just about lost the camcorder when I filmed through the opened hatch in the radioman's area.
I'm sure I posted some of those B-17 ride pictures in here some place.
