We showed up at the hospital cardio lab at 5:30AM for a 7:00AM start on my procedure. I was asked if I didn't mind waiting a bit longer as a man was broght in by ambulance earlier with a heart attack and was being worked on in the lab. I didn't mind at all and hope they were able to fix him up. I guess they did as I was taken in about an hour later. I was told that it took a full 4 1/2 hours to get through the restriction with a new rotor blade, which is a different tool than a roto-rooter. The plack in my artery was like bone said the Cardiologists. Last month I was awake for the procedure and watched the whole thing. This time they gave me enough stuff to knock me out. I've been told that I snored the whole time through it. All my arteries are now clean except one. That one is a little one and the doctor says if it closes off I will likely never feel it because another artery feeds that same area anyway. So I guess I'm good to go.

Gary, it sounds like nothing but good news on the heart front.
That's great.

Everything is Good. Thank-you for all the good wishes & prayers. Whatever they gave me to make me sleep is still working on me cause I still feel tired. This will pass before long and I'll be back to normal. I'm not suppose to do anything for a whole week. Can't drive and can't lift over 5 pounds.

That be a fact. They had to go in through the main artery in my groin. That main artery has to heal up befor I do anything that calls for effort or straining. If I should bust that open I likely would bleed out before reaching any hospital. Doctors orders are doctors orders. He out ranks me in the medical area and my wife being a register nurse is his watchdog. This is the only time she gets to tell me what to do or not to do, and I think she is enjoying it.
