This one is from the January 1957 issue of Popular Science. (It's a screen capture, as you can't copy the pages, so that's why the menu is on the photo, and there is the credit!) Anyone recognize the aircraft?

Oh yea, I found that ad via this web site. Just go to it, type in a month and a year, or just a topic. 137 years of Popular Science magazines on the web! I love looking through these old magazines! They have A LOT of old military stuff too. Try typing in an aircraft designation you are interested in, and see what you find. You'll spend hours there!! The advertisements are great too!

biendhoa, on second look, I believe you are correct.

I didn't look to see if the rocket doors were around the outside of the radome, and it looks like gun positions below the radome.

Too many years since I looked at a 94.
