Just a short blur of these flying over on opening day, but they sure look like F-106s to me! Near the end of the clip. Must have been the 318th FIS.

we pcs'ed to mcchord from hickam in '64...i went to all the open houses right up til today.. i think it was the F 100 when the thunder birds came ...i can't remember our fighter sq. doing any air shows back then, but those are definitely '6's in formation...

The first fly over is likely F-106's as they look like darts. The second set of fly overs sure looks like they have horizontal stabilizers. Likely F-4's or another aircraft jet with horizontal stabilizers.

In 1962 the Navy planes in the flyover are probably A4s. They have a distinctive look and Whidbey Island had them.
The Navy was also flying delta wing birds about that time, and the Guard was flying Deuces.
So, it is possible that none of them are Sixes.
It would be nice if someone could get a clear blow-up of the planes to make sure.
