The two -seat F-16 (B or D) was known as the station wagon or family model. I last saw 545 on the drone line at Tyndall in 1992. It's one of the seven Sixes that didn't get put on sticks and didn't get shot down. I think it has an inlet strut problem that makes it un-airworthy. 58-0901 was a pretty good jet, as I remember. I never heard either jet referred to as "Hal". In Duluth, we called 59-0155 "Nickel Nickel" and 59-160 "One Sick-Oh". 160 wasn't a real good jet back then. Lugnuts--I got to Minot two months after you left.

One of our tails was 57-2601. jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=543274&nseq=0I laughed when I read your line above remembering we all called her "Sick-Oh-One." I'll bet just about every aircraft with that combination of tail numbers got a similar nickname! Thanks for the memory jogger!
