The last 5 years of my career was spent at RAF Upper Heyford crewing the F-111Es. I hated the airframe; which is why I chose to seperate when rivet work force was implemented in 1992. Rivet work force locked us onto the airframe we were working on; which meant I would have spent the the rest of my career PCSing between Lakenheath, Heyford, Mt Home and Canon. There were other reasons, but I don't want to uncover dirt on the people I worked with I did however love working on the F-106 and the A-10
