I had only been in the 48th about two weeks no line badge so i was stsnding at the ecp. watching the take off of this ac.
Roll started burner light and up it went gear up .Next thing i know engin shutdown ac was sliding down the runway on belly sparks just flying.Pilot rode it to a stop at the other end.So my first job was to help get the wsems off the rails.This started my 20yrs in backshop and loading.
