Anybody else see the banner ad on top of the forums advertising for interest in getting a Muslim wife? It sort of got my attention. Not what I usually see here on Pat's World!

Pat's not at fault. The hosting company in their agreements gets to run the ads. Life online has it's pitfalls in low cost hosting.

I have no control over the ads unless we turn this into a pay site. The hosting site displays ads automatically, usually based on what the usual topics of the threads are i.e. when the word aircraft is used often, nothing but aircraft links appear in the ads. I have no idea what thread might have spurred the muslim ad, buts it's all about what the webbots find.
I would hate to turn this into a pay site just to get rids of ads, but if it comes to that so be it, just be prepared for some changes in membership.
