Posting this for jimpadgett, he said 1978 Keflavik, Iceland. Four 87th FIS sixes stood alert while 57th FIS was transitioning to F-4Es
Thanks Jim! I remember this tail number, it was still with the 87th until 1985

This was one of only two deployments to europe in the 1970,s and none after then .
this deployment took place between the 10-30 may 1978 and involved 4 F-106,s the previously posted 90035 , 90051 , 90095 the fourth one was 90091 .
Hahn AFB was the Host to the other deployment of 5 FIS F-106,s , from the 4-25 sept 1975 .
The aircraft involved in this deployment were 60460, 90005, 90010,90015, 90019,90063.
all A models along with 80901 F-106B.
