I received this in an email today. Hopefully someone here will have know him.------------------------------ Patrick, I am looking for information on my father. Capt. Kenneth Carlisle Hite He was killed in May of 1964 near Duluth AP, MN. He was flying the F-106B trainer and had a flame out. He tried to land on a dirt road and didn’t make it. The co-pilot ejected as instructed by my dad. I believe he lived. If you have any information, it would be greatly appreciated. I know he was with the 11th FIS “Red Bulls” Thank you for your time! I remembered this incident and e-mailed Richard with what I recalled. He is interested in any details that anyone can recall. I know the back seater was Colonel Bastian, the 343 Ftr Gp DCM or Chief of Maintenance, Richard is interested in knowing if Col. Bastian is still alive. Please e=mail him with any info. The aircraft was 59-0156.
