Our daughter's family arrived few days ago, and today she lost her baby. Misscarried. It's a bummer of a time now for us.

Thanks AJ. My daughter said this was the first time she had ever seen her husband cry. They say they are glad it happened now while they are here and have family around. It's a tough thing for a family to go through, but the Lord will help us through it. :thanks

That is a tough thing to have happen. I will say a prayer for you and your family. Hold on to each other and draw on each other's strengths.

Gary, the loss of the little one is very sad news. We know, that the little ones enter the presence of the Lord and are with Him forever. That is the hope we who are in Christ have; we will be with Him forever. Will be praying for all of you, for God's comfort, peace and joy in this time of sorrow. Jim

I'm so sorry for your family's loss. We experienced the same thing several years ago. It was about two years after the birth of our one and only child. My wife miscarried twins. Not exactly what we had planned, but in the end you have to play the hand your dealt. We got passed it, and I'm confident that the strength of your family will help your daughter and son-in-law get through this as well. :god_bless_usa

Thanks again friends. I've done some research on the internet: One in five women misscarry! That is a big amount. My ex-wife misscarried once. My wife misscarried twice. I believe it happens more that people realize. My daughter & son-in-law both are Christians and I know their faith will get them past this. Prayers are always welcome. :thanks

Gary,
As a father of four and grandpa of a 7-month old boy I just wonder how I would deal with something like that. Penny and my prayers are with you and your family.

I'm sorry for your loss. The stat that I heard was 1 in 3 pregnancies end in miscarriage. I lost my second pregnancy and almost my third. My youngest son is our Jesus baby The comforting thought is that unborn babies are being rocked in the LORD's arms

Prayers are very welcome. Situation is getting worse instead of better. Daughter woke up this morning in bad pains and couldn't hardly walk. Husband took her to the Naval Hospital about 30 minutes away. ER drew blood and did an ultrasound. They believe she might have had twins and misscarried. She now has a possible cyst on one ovary. Back to the hospital Friday for x-rays, blood work, and a visit to OB/GYN clinic.
She is a USAF Reservist and has been pulling active duty orders as far back as 1999 out of high school. Been to the gulf zone, and was only off orders a few months when she had her daughter 4 years ago. This is her first real vacation in 10 years and I feel very bad for her.
She is in pain and the damn doctor would not give her pain pills, just told her to take motrin. I'd like to smack that damn doctor.

Thanks for the update Gary. Thankfully she's on active duty orders. I know what you mean about the military MD's, aka "Motrin Dispenser's". Stay on those guys and get her well soon.
