Never saw a "Six" so slick before. No markings or drop tanks.

A reply from a message I sent on fencecheck: "The owners plans were to break a speed record set by the F-106. However, he just doesn't have the time to continue this project. He also owns an F-100, and more recently bought an F-5. He has offered the F-106 "project" for sale to a very capable person who has expressed interest. I do believe that this "buyer" would for sure get this aircraft back in the air, given his passion, and collection of aircraft. I do not want to "let the cat out of the bag", because I do not know if the buyer wants to be revealed, but believe me, if anyone can get this project done, it is him!" Anybody know who this new buyer might be he refers to? And yes, this guy have a B model and some other stuff as seen here.

I've heard there's an individual in the Dallas area that has wanted a Six. About 5 years ago he was making inquiries about maintenance types qualified on the Six, avionics in particular.
The deal fell thru, and I never talked to him in person.
I might see about making some phone calls today, maybe they'll come to something.

No I don't, it was a friend of a friend type deal.
The individual that was attempting to buy and restore the six was based out of Addison Airport. Not associated with Cavanaugh (sp?) that I'm aware of. When the deal fell through I didn't think anymore of it, until now.
If he had gotten them/it, I was going to volunteer time to bring the MA-1(s) back to life.
I did call the guy that I used to work with, but he was on leave today. I'll try again tomorrow.

I finally got hold of the person that told me of the buyer in Addison from a few years back. Not surprisingly, he can't remember anything. :bs To make a long story short, I'm "bad juju" at Love Field now, since I abandoned them a year ago...
