Pat, Just wanted to let you know that when you change the URL to the new one, you may have to log in again or you will be identified as a "guest". Another tip: When you log in select "forever" as your log in time and you won't have to log in every time you visit the site. Thanks, Pat Perry 456th FIS

Correct
If you're someone who logged on as FOREVER it will ask you to LOGON again. Maybe I'll change the properties of the popuar threads to allow only registered members to post to ensure everyone logs in again.

I hope everyone remembers their log-in ID and password. I understand that some members often just stop by to read and don't log in unless they want to reply or create a new post. Someone recently pointed out that many of the guests on the site are really members who stopped by to visit. Logging in "permanently" will show their member names on line without the extra task of logging in each time they visit. I don't know about every one else but I have so many log-in ID's and passwords it's easy to forget them. So, I put them next to my favorites in parenthesis in case I forget. I know Microsoft allows web sites (or my PC) to "remember my name and password" (and a whole bunch of other personal info) but I'm leary of hacking software that would steal this info from my PC, so I never use this feature. Thanks for all the work you do on this site! I have never seen another aircraft site like yours and Erv Smalley's that has so much info on the aircraft and all the squadrons that were associated with it. It's ashame that there is not one like it for the F-102. Maybe there is and I just haven't found it? Pat Perry 456th FIS

Pat Perry 456th FIS The original site URL still works without change so if folks are still using their bookmarked link they will be fine and not have to login again. For those who do have to login again, and who may have forgotten their password, we can reset it if they ask. I ran a report of non-activated accounts recently and found about 50 new accounts, some very old, that were never activated. I think I may remove them, still thinking on it. Hey, while I have no experiance on the F-102 other than building the one that sits at the Hill AFB Museum (yea, I put that one together) maybe it's time I start an F-102 site or at least a forum. Let me think on it.

:-XPat and Pat, This is just an add on to your thoughts about F 102 sites. Many of us that came into the F 106 program came from the F 86D, F 101B, and F 102 Aircraft. I keep in touch with the F 102 guys on gwillick.com/482ndFIS/ as that was my first F 102 Squadron at Seymour Johnson AFB, NC in the 50s. The F 101 guys that I keep in touch with are at www.fisrg.com . This site is for the 58th and 60th FIS at Otis AFB, MA. I was working F 101Bs there during the days of JFK, and on the day that the President was killed, we were doing one of those 101 sorties or 60 sorties days. It was turn and burn day on the Cape. I just thought that I would add these sites as there are many familiar names out there that a lot of us will remember. Ralph L. Robledo, 329th, 5th, and 84th FIS
