My son just showed me a flight sim game this past weekend on his PS3 and it will be out for PC's also this month. All that is out now is a demo. I watched it on his 47" HDTV. Awesome There is no in the demo. I understand the game has other aircraft but I don't know which ones. I think I might be getting this for my PC. Anyone else enjoy flight sim games?

I remember my 1st PC with the 'Top Gun' program on it. Haven't played a sim game since. What type of extra hardware is needed? Joystick? I'd love to try some of the new sims...

With a PC a joystick is nice. A mouse will not feel right. My joystick "Wingman" lets you fly but if you twist the stick as you are fly you can look out the sides of the cockpit which adds realism. My son has a hand held controller with his PS3. It has two thumb sticks and lots of buttons. One thumb stick is the flight control and the other lets you look around. I like the joystick myself for flight sims.
