Pat McGee just added a new page to the F-106 History about the USAF Interceptor Weapons School (IWS) with photos provided by Mark Foxwell. Hi Mark, Welcome aboard. That's a nice add to the web site. Thanks!

Mark, thanks for the info, photos and patches. This is a well deserved addition to the site. I wonder what else I've missed

Hey, this looks like it would make a good addition to the IWS page! The text is from www.319th.com/postkorea.htm"Once again in June of 1975 the 319th Squadron was activated as the 319th Fighter Interceptor Training Squadron at Tyndall AFB, Panama City, Florida. They operated under the ADC's Interceptor Weapons School. It operated without aircraft and trained pilots in their aircraft that they brought from other locations. The squadron was deactivated in November 1977. Was there any other squadron in the Air Defense Command activated and deactivated as many times as the 319th? Is this the final...?" The photo is from eBay but don't worry, I bought this patch a few months ago when I was in school down at Altus AFB. I just don't have my scanner with me here at Little Rock! Mark
