I just had a new leg made to replace my worn out one. This one is amore up to date one that has a carbon look that is black in color and I had a squadron patch imbedded in it that I purchased from Bear in 2011. I will try to get a picture of it soon so I can post it. I have had a prosthetic leg since 72.

Would you care too share what happened to cause you to loose your leg? If not that's OK. Hope it works well for you.

I had a car accident . I passed a car and pulled back into my lane and while doing that lost control on damp pavement which resulted in a crash into a concrete barrier on the creek crossing. The Bronco I owned was totaled and I spent a month in hospital. My girl friend then reminded me that just because your our left foot backed out of this marriage, is no way I'm letting the rest of you back out. I was very glad she stuck in there. We've now been married near 43 years. I am still going to try to get a picture posted.

Thanks for sharing. Sounds like a bad accident. Likely could have been much worse.

Well Jim I have told a few of them in previous posts and some of them went back to times spent in Korea with both the 71st and the 94th.one in particular was with the 94th and the armament doors fast closing on a bpo/pre flight inspection prior to alert status set-up. nearly bought the farm that day.

Thanks for your help Gene and Jim just to be clear, that is a real cloth patch. The actual patch that "Bear" sold me in 2011. I had to sacrifice it to get that job done in a timely manor.
