Old Sarge, You'll like this. Film says it's an Osprey.
I've never seen a bird shake water off in flight like a dog does. And just after catching fish. I wouldn't want to get in the way of him when he's got his eyes locked and his talons in the "locked and loaded" position!
There are 3 sequences in this one video:
1st sequence he catches half a dozen fish in one strike.
2nd sequence he plunges talons into deep water right to the bottom to grab his prey. How the heck did the film this?
3rd sequence he captures a big old fat Bass that looks as if it weighs more than he does and rides it like a surf board!
This is best viewed in full screen mode...enjoy! This is some amazing photography.

Thats amasing. How did it keep the bass with just one foot holding it? Thanks for sharing.

Great film.
When we lived in Montana, the fish and game people built platforms on top of power poles for Osprey to nest.
Nest they did.
Their nests are quite large.
Along the Columbia River Gorge, Osprey nest in trees and on cliff shelves on both sides of the river.
In the areas of the Columbia that have rapids, there are always Osprey, Golden Eagles and Bald Eagles nesting in the area.
These raptors are territorial and will fight any bird that comes in to its territory.
It is truly amazing to see the size of some of the Salmon they grab, and still manage to fly to their Aeries.
Thanks for posting the video, Pat.
