Well, boys and girls, I finally made the Leap, a Giant Step, A Change of
??.
What is this idiot talking about?
Yester-day, my bride and I changed our phones.
We took ourselves in to the Twenty-first Century.
We bought "Smart Phones".
We have been with T-Mobile for years, but have always had pretty simple phones.
You know, the ones that "old people" can use.
Well, seeing all of our children are texting each other, but not us, we decided to take the leap.
We talked to the manager of the phone booth in the Randolph Exchange and got the phones we felt would last us for a while.
I did lots of research, on line and in Consumer Reports.
The best phone, according to most sources, is the Samsung Galaxy S II.
It is not the cheapest, nor the most expensive.
Seeing the Exchange was having a sale, we saved a good bit over the T-Mobile Store, and even Costco.
So, we now have new 4.5" screen phones, lots of stuff to learn, and will be getting frustrated as we go along the way.
One thing I am pretty certain of: "SMART PHONE" , means that that electronic device is smarter than OLD OZ.
Now we are on a new learning curve.
That's O.K., as scientists tell us that we need to be learning new things to keep our brains, what's left of them, from wasting away.
If that is the case, I have nothing to worry about, until I have mastered my "Smart Phone".
Like that will ever happen.
