Adart and i had a p.m. about our pets and thought that a lot of members of this site are family people with pets and it would be nice to "show them off a little"... when i saw the cat and dog joke from Mark O.....

Here's a pretty normal view of my dogs while supper is on the stove! (The cat -- Pumpkin -- could care less! The chickens are employees, not pets!) Lucy is the lab, Kodi (Kodiak) is the hound, and Brody is the Chihuahua.

O.K., Gier, now you did it.
Anyone who watches that sled dog video and doesn't get some tears, has a heart made of ice.
Thanks for the reminder of love in action.

Wow. We just had some folks come by the house looking for their lost, miniature Schnauzer. They handed my daughter a flyer with photos of the dog and offering a $1000.00 REWARD!!!
They live in a small, unincorporated place called Potosi to the southeast of our neighborhood, maybe 4-5 miles as the crow flies. (We live on the extreme south-southeast side of Abilene, and are incorporated.) If they came to my neighborhood, I'm sure they've hit up every house in Potosi as well.
$1000.00! I'll bet every kid in a 10-mile radius is looking for that dog!
I'm sorry, but to be perfectly honest I would offer a firm handshake, a hearty thank you, and a couple dozen eggs if someone found one of my lost dogs. That's not to say I wouldn't look, or want them back, but a GRAND??

I can understand this, I've met some of the kids :clap HEY MOW WHERE DID MY BEER DRINKING IRISH TENORS GO?
