I just got my regular catalog from www.medalsofamerica.com and saw this neat Aerospace Defense Command t-shirt! I bought my old-style, silver oxide aircrew wings from them when the USAF authorized us to wear them (I hate the mirror/nickel finish version), so they send me a catalog about every other month or so. They're a veteran run company, and have some pretty neat stuff. They are a bit more expensive than the clothing sales store on base, but for some vets, this is their only option. www.medalsofamerica.com/Item--i-T717-STYLEWhen I figure out what kind of shadow box I want, these guys will probably be the first I look to. Just thought someone else might be interested. Mark

Thanks, Mark. I've been looking for an old style E-8 pin for my veterans hat. I guess I'm old school because I can remember in 1976 how surprised and proud I was to get that rocker above the E-7 stripes.

I'm glad you found them, as they do not show the original SMSgt stripes in the current catalog, so it's nice you found they have them in stock. I was thinking there might be someone who would be interested in those originals. I was just as proud to get that rocker on my TSgt stripes. I just couldn't keep my mouth shut long enough to get that second rocker I guess! Mark

Jim: The old fangled E-8 pin is for the hat you gave me. I wouldn't wear it until I found the old E-8 pin.
The Fun Daze parade this year in Gwinn has a theme of "Honor Our Veterans" at the suggestion of yours truely. Now I can go in style.
