Did you know a Randy Adams or Joe Graham at Castle? They were crew dogs out there as well. We were all alert crew dogs with the 318th after the 84th closed and the 318th Det 1 took over alert duty there. I know they were both in the 84th during your time there.

Hey alfonz, I was a jet engine mechanic/crew chief with the 84th from 1977-1980, so I would assume we probably know each other. I agree, lots of good memories.

Hey c.harley, I remember you. We worked on the 106 at the same time and also attended some of the same "social events" ie. parties. Yes the 84th was a pretty tight knit group at that time, lots of fun times.

Hey Chris, I was a jet engine mech/crew chief. I live in Modesto, just up the road from Castle. I don't know who alfonz is but I think it could be Al White, because his first name was similar to that, Alphonza I think. I remember Woody and Pete Johnson also. What about you, where are you at? There are a few people from the 84th I am still in touch with, Charlie Huff, Tim Sides and Jeff Fetla. Have also talked to Ken Goo a few times over the years.

Dan, I am in Houston Texas - I was thinking Alfonz is Al White, if I remember correctly his name was Alphonsa P. White. After Castle I went to R.A.F. Upper Heyford and my Social Events got me an early retirement. I came to Houston and fell right into an Aviation job and have been at the same place for 25 years now. My social habits hav changed

since I work in the corporate world. Say Hi to Charlie and the other guys for me. My last contact with Pete Johnson, he was in Germany, have not heard from him or Woody, wonder what there up to. I remember Kenny Goo - Aloha Kenny, whats up bro !! One day at work I called this Customs office in Bangor Maine, and Inspector Duddy answered the phone, it was the Chief's brother, believe it or not.

What are the odds of that happening, when I asked if it was the chief, in the same exact voice, he said, No, thats my brother, go figure.

Chris, glad to hear you are doing well. I got out of the AF at the end of my 4 years and have stayed in the area working as a pilot since then. There is another guy I stay in touch with that you might know also, Steve Fedor, he was a crew chief. That was a cool story about the chiefs brother, it is a small world at times. If you want any contact info for any of the guys send me a PM with your email and would be happy to send it. Most of us are also on face book, if you are on FB look me up.
