All, I'm currently attempting to print a small scale model of the Six. I'll post pictures of how it comes out for all to see, failure or success. It'll be about 8.5 to 9 inches long, so we'll see how it turns out. Wish me luck!

If home builders can print a home in 4-5 days you should be able to print an F-106! Good luck!
Thanks, Pat P.

Didn't turn out quite as nicely as I'd hoped. I'll make a couple of adjustments and see if how that goes.

Lindel, the latest pictures look better than the earlier ones. Thanks for sharing!
What did you use to program the 3D printer? A model of F-106? A drawing of F-106?
It's interesting the way it catches the layers and prints them which is only noticeable on the wing leading edges that turn more sharply in 3D.
I have seen a few videos of homes being built using a huge 3D printer and concrete.
Nice job! Thanks, Pat P.

It was actually a file I found on the internet, by someone that likes the Six a great deal. I don't have the kind of talent to model one, at least, not yet. Most decent CAD programs should be able to get the job done, however.
