Looking for people who were in the 48th from 60 to 67 who may have known my father SMS Alfred Camara , he had many jobs during the years I was around 8 in 62 and 12 in 66-67 when he left so I may have his job titles wrong but I remember maint. Crew Chief , his guys repaired the 106 and later he was in charge of Operations just before we moved. I often went to the base with him and talked to pilots and airmen who knew him, Dad passed away 4 yrs ago and I often think about growing up an Air Force brat and all the things I did at Langley on and off base, so can anyone help me? Bill

Bill Camara, welcome to the F-106 hangar! Papanovember last posted here in 2012. He's probably on FaceBook but may be using his real name. If you are on FaceBook, join the Convair F-106 Delta Dart Group. There are over 5500 members there including a bunch of 48th FIS vets. The 48th FIS also has a Group page you can find by doing a search on FaceBook. I'm sure you can find some guys who knew your Dad, SMS Alfred Camara at Langley or other base assignments. It's always good to have sons and daughters of F-106 vets looking for info about their Dads! Thanks, Pat P.
