I must be really old. I remember going TDY from McGuire AFB to Tyndall AFB in 1960's. I was there from 1964-1967. The old C-123, C-119, and C-124 from Air Guard wore that patch. I have been down with a bad cold all week. Bad cough, fever and the big "D". Starting to feel a little better.   Lorin BTW, even after you pass the 10 level test, you have to get past Digger O'Dell and the review board (the above 4 experts). And a bit o advice, "ye best be a havin 4  in ye hands, or me foine duo will be a singing tha funeral dirge instead o beautiful Irish lullabys.  . Tha Olde Sarge |

Lorin,,, What always helps us is what is called a Hot Toddie. Belinda has always made them for her & I when we felt bad. Here is how to make.
One shot or two of whiskey
One shot of real lemmon juice
One shot of honey
Mix in coffee cup in very hot water
Drink while hot
Go to bed and cover up.
You will sweat, but wake feeling at least 85% better and rested.

Jim we also had 1 C-45 ( commander`s plane) and 1 C-47 gooney bird to haul troops TDY to our towing sites. I was also issued brown shoes an olive green army uniform s.When I got to Sheppard for A&E school we exchanged them for AF blue.So that makes me OLDER THAN DIRT AND DUMBER THAN A OF BOX ROCKS
