This is the strangest stupidest crap I have seen in a long time from the liberal/progressive/democrats.
www.ptleader.com/news/north-olympic-orca-pod-stages-die-in/article_66d30b46-d71c-11e8-a43a-fb0531762138.html
I just had to send in a rebuttal. What do you think of it?
Leader article Oct 24th, North Olympic Orca Pod stages “die in.” This is such nonsense! Everything born has a life span. Humans and animals die of old age, still birth, and some have what is diagnosed as a failure to thrive. An Orca has a baby born dead, or dies shortly after birth; this is just a still born, crib death, or failure to thrive. Liberals democrats go off on a knee jerk reaction and call for the destruction of dams on the snake river without facts. Salmon make it up the fish ladders at dams quite well compared to the waterfalls in our rivers and streams. Let’s look at facts and not this bullcrap. Victoria B.C, Canada has been dumping raw sewage into Puget Sound for years ( www.crd.bc.ca/project/wastewater-treatment-project ) and will continue until at least 2020. Then there is the over abundance of sea-lions that feed on salmon because they have been protected for too many years. A sea-lion often only takes one bite out of a salmon, plus they damaged shellfish beds. They are no longer endangered. Shouldn’t there be a hunting season on them, let the Indians hunt them like their ancestors use to. There are too many gill nets in our rivers and streams. Then there is the pollution problem, including plastics, run off from city streets, sewage overflows, pesticides, fertilizer, household cleaners, etc. We have all seen video and photos of bears in waterways and at waterfalls catching salmon. Should we start increasing bear hunting season? Last but not least, the huge foreign fishing vessels & fleets inside American waters (https://www.csmonitor.com/1980/0617/061742.html ). Do not pay attention to knee jerk liberals and their nonsense, we want just the facts!

That guy should be hanging on back porch and getting ready for freezer. We get whitetail in out back yard sometimes. Usually doe's but this last fall a big 8-10 pointer was right on other side of fence. I haven't gone deer hunting in nearly 10 years now. I miss it, but no one to go with and besides I am too old and can't do the long hikes. Lorin

I was just remembering a hunting trip from years back. I was on a ridge above the Queets river valley on WA State's coast when I heard this noise. I looked around and saw nothing and then looked up to see a KC-10 pass over me at maybe 500-600 feet followed by four F-15's flying 2 on each side of the KC-10 and slightly behind spread out a little. It was an awesome site and I did not have my camera. Later that day I saw 2 bears together and wish I had not left my camera in camp. Very good photo's that had not been captured. Since then I usually never forget my camera.

It is 15.5 Megabytes and may take a few minutes to arrive on your PC or laptop with the lower line speed you have at your home. I really liked your book and would encourage our F-106 Forum members to order it! In your latest post “Sportsmens Thread (Hunting, Fishing, Etc,Etc)” I have a story to add: Our Xerox Service managers had a fishing trip to Lake Sam Rayburn in east Texas. We were fishing for Black Bass and other fish we could snag. We heard a rumbling overhead, and it was a B-52 (BUFF) flying at about 500 feet with the bomb bay doors open practicing a CBU Dump. They were from Barksdale AFB, LA near the lake. I almost fell out of the boat, and I didn’t get a picture of it. This was before cell phones with cameras. Lake Sam Rayburn is 65 miles long and 1-2 miles wide. So, no doubt the BUFFs used it for practice runs. Thanks, Pat P.

Gary, we never took any fish home from Lake Sam Rayburn. We always had 6-8 boats and 12-15 Service Managers fishing.
We fished in April and October for several days each year and always had a big fish fry before going home. We also drank a lot of beer! We cleaned a fileted hundreds of fish and fried them. If any filets were left over, we gave them to our catchers who caught the most fish. The state throwback rule was less than 12 inches long. Put them back and let them grow.
Our Texas guys did the best fishing with blue plastic worms on Carolina Rigs and caught many Black Bass "Hogs" over 4 pounds. Feel a light bump-bump and set the hook.
Most of us had been in the military (USAF, ARMY, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard) and we got along great! The war stories around the campfire at dark were amazing. One of our guys hunted Alligators. I asked him how he did that. He said I jumped in the water and caught them and got the guy in the boat to tie off his snout. He has also done some of the greatest car restorations I have ever seen.
More later. I have been one of the luckiest people on the planet and I thank God for that. Pat P.

We did make it up to Duluth, MN this summer. Got to see the Tall Ships come into the harbor. That was quite a sight going under the lift bridge. Still trying to download some of the pics. All sorts of other sail boats and grain and iron ore ships also. Stayed down by the harbor and had a great time. Ate and had a few beers at Grandmas also went back to my favorite Pizza place Sammies Pizza.
