Hey guys,
I know a few of you are on Facebook, but many are not. Recently a great guy, and fabulous artist painted an AWESOME piece of work I am attaching here. He sold the original, but made 340 prints (the number of actual Sixes made), and is selling them for $55.00, plus $10.00 shipping. I'm doing him a favor by advertising here, but I get nothing from the deal. (I bought one myself already.)
Now here's the neat thing. He is numbering them after actual tail numbers. In other words, none of the conventional 1 of 340, etc. Just numbered after the actual tail. There will only be one 60459, one 90145, etc. (I got 60466, and I know 80787 is sold!) Here is what he posted on Facebook...
"CAVALIERS SCRAMBLE" prints will soon be ready to ship. I am asking $55.00US plus $10.00 shipping. Prints are 10" x 20" on 14" x 24" high quality lustre paper. A maximum of 340 prints will be produced which coincides with the Sixes built and shall be signed and numbered using the airframe number (ie: print number 80787) this way if you can have a print numbered after a particular aircraft that is significant to you. Please give me a couple of airframe choices just in case your first choice is sold. Please order through mageejcm@gmail.com
Give me (Mark O) a holler if you have questions, or just email Marc Magee -- the artist -- at mageejcm@gmail.com . He's a nice guy! (Oh, he's okay with paying by PayPal, but email him if you have other preferences should you choose to purchase one of his prints.)

Just got my print in the mail this afternoon. WOW! Very nice! It looks so much better looking at it in my hand. Now to find a nice frame!
By the way, Marc sent it in a delta-shaped box! So cool!

My print is at the frame shop getting a nice frame. Will send photo when done. Was looking at a few, but leaning towards a nice, plain walnut frame, and maybe a light-blue border. Need to get it done!

Most of my military frames are a flat or matt black. So I will stay with that design and use Marc's outline around his pic as a border. If I don't like that I'll use some kind of mat.. Can't wait...

Hey Folks, I know this is a fairly old thread but I recently came across it and absolutely had to have one of these prints. After contacting Marc and finding out more prints were available I got one on order just this evening. 90082 is on it's way. The print cost me $68 shipped from Canada. Payment was via PayPal. You can save 3 bucks if you pay via check or MO. The email addy Mark O. posted is still good. www.marcmagee.com/aviation
