Well Good Morning! Its a glorious morning here on the South Platte! The sun is rising - the rooster is crowing and I'm up early having some delicious hot coffee on my back porch!!! THEN IT HIT ME!!!!!! I had a thought and decided to see just how many of you old MA-1 techs and any other "6" associated technicians could identify these terms - ROT-TOT-RTOT-DROT-ATOT-IRTOT. If you know what they are - can you put them in the correct order??? HEHEHEHE!!! Maybe I should NOT get up so early - again!!!!! MARV

As an old, and forgetful, MA-1 type those stand for Radar on Target, IR on Target etc. We also had Range only tracking and many more that have been flushed from what remaining memory I have left. But I can still call out many of the MA-1 black boxes...Which were black, unlike the black box recorders on aircraft which are International Orange. 464080...scope, 464083 flight control stick, 464096 Radar test box, etc. I remember someone posted a complete list of MA-1 boxes here a few years back. I would like to see that again if anyone has it. Lorin

OK. Gonna try but I also worked F-4 and F-15 systems which had their own alphabet soup. So I may have some of these confused.
ROT = Range on Target TOT = Track on Target RTOT - Range Track on Target DROT = Delayed Range on Target ATOT = Angle Track on Target IRTOT - IR Track on Target
