Looking for suggestions on how to get my armament bay open (590086). Conditions are as follows: +All door and displacement systems are intact (photos taken through vent port in bay doors). +MB-1 ejector rack is still in place; with an 87FIS baggage pod installed. +Air lines external to the bay system are missing/cut; all pneumatics inside the bay appear to be untouched. +Multiple airlines have been cut or air operated devices removed. +After sitting stationary since 1985 at DM and since 2003 at the museum; I would not trust any seals to be effective. +The plane is a gun bird, so the door skins have an additional layer of strengthening sheetmetal. +Because of the extra sheetmetal, I can not remove the small panels on the outer doors to release the door linkages. +A tech rep once told us that we could slow open the doors by applying high pressure air to the backside of the slow open valve. +On the backside of the slow open valve there only 2 small diameter (3/8"?) lines. +We do not have appropriate TO's governing the details of the door system. Any ideas or instructions would be helpful. slow open valve viewed from rat compartment.

If there's no air on board, should be able to droop the doors, it's been a long time, does anyone have access to the tech manual? But without air, you will not be able to close the doors again, only choice leave the doors drooped or find a complete set of door locks and get about 4 people to pull up and out, install the locks!

Do you still have power on the jet, have to electric pop the doors open, while the air valve is still closed, once they pop, rotate the air valve to open, the doors should droop, get a set of door locks, have three or four guys pick up on the doors, install the door locks, your done!

Being there no air on bird, once you pop the solenoid down, the door should start to droop on its own, where is the bird?

All else fails, I would rig up some batteries, take the switch off the main wheel well and apply voltage to the switch, once the poppet valve is popped the doors should start to droop. If you were closer I could come out to help, but I'm on east coast
