Thanks again guys! I just returned home so I could get back to work... no, no it's all good, I feel much better now that I had some rest/fun time with loved ones.
I'm sure you're all dieing to know, so you will all be happy to hear that the Hard Rock Cafe Makati Manila is still going strong, Ringside and Billboard clubs down on P. Burgos St are still going strong, my 2nd home the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Makati is still the 5-star palace I always expect it to be, the TGI Friday Makati renovation looks great, the Mall of Asia in Pasay City, Manila is bigger than ever just recently adding ANOTHER level not only keeping it the biggest mall in Asia, but now probably like twice as big, and the weather in the Philippines is still as hot as ever. Yes, I just knew you were all wondering about all that
On a more serious note, the devastated city of Tacloban from last years typhoon and tsunami is slowly starting to show signs of life again. I visited, since there's family there, and while many many areas still are so bad that the smell drives you away, many of the areas are in rebuild mode. So, as they say, could be worse. I'm pretty sure that is the area we will settle in. Tacloban is actually a beautiful area of the PI, and not normally at threat by typhoons and such. There are still areas with beautiful beaches and wilderness, and the devastated areas will eventually rebuild and grow back.
Thanks again for the bday wishes guys, much much appreciated!

MOW, you need to make more trips to Manila.
You look extremely happy in the picture you posted.
Hope you continue to stay as happy as the two of you look in the picture.
Remember, don't let the small stuff get to you, and that it is all small stuff, no matter how big some bureaucrat thinks it is.

Wow MOW! It would take six hours and a Brillo pad to wipe that smile off your face. Don't let it be so long until the next time. Treat yourself to happiness!
