We come here often to express our feelings about a fine aircraft and the men and women who made her a true legend. Today our hearts are heavy with the loss of Marge Gier, loving wife of Jim, The Old Sarge. She went to be with our Lord this morning September 15, 2006 following a long illness in which Jim and their daughters provided loving care. May she rest in peace and her spirit always be present in their hearts. Jim, we are with you today and in the months and years ahead. You have brought joy to Marge and to many of us who have come to know you through this forum. You are a friend to all and we share your loss. God be with you and your family. Your fellow sixers at Pat's World

Jim
Add my name to the list of fellow sixers who call you a friend and share your loss. Pat said it better than I can so I also share his words.
Please accept my sincere condolences.
Take Care.
Albert

Old Sarge,
Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in our thoughts and prayers.
Your extended family

Yes Jim, My condolences as well!
I sure wanted to get the chance to see you and your wife, and my wife was just as eager to meet you both, also. My heart goes out to you and your family. I know the feeling and I'll put you in my prayers tonight, special! You are special and so was she! ( Had to to put up with you!) I'm sure there is a special place with her name on it that she is enjoying. One day, we all may get the chance to see each other and share.
God bless you Jim.
From the MArv and his wife, Bridget.

The lord saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be,so he put his arms around you and whispered "come with me".
With tearful eyes,we watched you suffer and saw you fade away, although we loved dearly,we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, and a beautiful smile at rest, God broke our hearts to prove HE ONLY TAKES THE BEST.
Jim, God bless you and the family. Jay Grant.
