Have you seen this video Jim? Figured you might recognize some of this! It's worth a watch for everyone. 27th FIS Dueces, plus A BUNCH of other classic aircraft at Griffis. No Mark, I haven't... But, I was there when the news outfit was filming-never saw it either.... The Classic a/c you saw (not in order) EB-29 from 4713th Radar Evaluation Sqdn at Griffiss, a T-33 (several times) an EB 66 that belonged to Rome Research and Development Command, an EB 57 belonging to same (flown by civilians!!!!!!!!!) F-94C, F 89 J,K or L-ain't sure which from the 465th FIS who later changed to the 49th FIS and got F 101Bs... And of course the F-102- some with the classic tail flash more popularly seen on the SIX- very few of our Deuces had that paint job because they were painted by the ROAMA depot shops...........
