I hear ya, old habits die hard like that, doubly so when conditioned by years or decades of repetitive experience--I STILL occasionally find myself finishing a position paper and getting up to run it down to a prof's box in the mailroom, then have to remind myself I'm not IN college anymore and the only one who ever reads 'em is my buddy in the Legislature. LOL Looks like I typed in my prior reply right as you were editing your post...

Now I know I asked this once already but to those who are in the know-- what is the fastest you know you got your Six up to, or what is the fastest you know, or are pretty sure that an aircraft you worked on was pushed to. lets see now- absolute altitude record of 85,069 feet, absolute speed record for any a/c 2,193.2 mph..... Have you figured it out yet? ? I wiped the struts down on the display at Pima Air Museum- qualifies me as having worked on it...... By the way, it is rumored to have exceeded 85, 500 feet several times.. see gizmodo.com/5511236/the-thrill-of-flying-the-sr+71-blackbird... RpR the answers to your latest questions are the same as they were before and are still posted someplace here in the forum.......The answers are there if you want them....... You have access to everything here... Besides, your question almost sounds like a GOTCHA No gotcha, just checking to see if any one who is not a regular might see it and and say " Well I remember...." That's all.
