Jim, I talked to the El Paso folks in late June and everything seems to
have come to a
screeching halt, seems that the owner has other priorities. I understand
that they had
the 2 "A" models put together and in "sort of" display condition
and the
boss was trying
to find someone to trade them to. I hear that he's only interested in a
trade, they're
not for sale. Just what he's up to is sort of a "God only knows". The
"B"
that they
were going to try to fly, 57-2509, is in about the same condition that it
was in when I
went down there in Oct 01. I understand that they have done some tin
bending, fixing corrosion problems, etc. but really not too much.
I really have some serious doubts about them ever getting that thing
in the air, especially since the guy paying the bills seems to have
lost interest
