MOW, Back in 2003 I had 300 Luther lapel pins made for $1.31 each by Quality Lapel Pins in Denver, CO. I used about 150 for freebies at our renuions and donated 150 to Castle Air Museum. They sold out of them over about 2 years. I think they charged about $2.50 to $3 each for them. We did similar gift shop stocking donations of ball caps, T-shirts, poster prints, coffee mugs, Luther squadron patches and plastic 1/48 F-106 & F-102 models for around $5,500. All together they sold the stuff for around $30,000. Sources for all items were US companies since we didn't have any Korean contacts back then. Since then you have done the Challenge Coins and key chains for us at a big savings in cost and we have donated quantities of them to CAM for resale. This does not include all the cash contributions made by 456th FIS members over the past 12 years or the raffling of clocks made by the Old Sarge. This has been a good way to make sure the 456th and F-106 gift items were available to the public and the museum benefitted by selling the items in the gift shop and using the money where they needed it.
