back in the '70s the flying squadrons used different colored tapes like the M O W was talking about... 8th MAS was my dads, and his were blue... I had a bunch of those made up when I was in Turkey during Operation Northern Watch. We all would get them made up in our squadron (or wing) colors. They were so cheap I even got a bunch made up with my kids names on them! I think the ones I have left are buried in one of my many duffel bags of old "stuff" in the attic!

Has Polly been in touch yet? I'm sure she wouldn't mind if you at least linked to these pages for now on your F-102 page. Thanks, Pat P. No, haven't heard anything. That actually would be better than starting a new site, just maintain and improve on that one.

I think key chains are the better idea.
We don't fly anymore, preferring to drive and not have to go through all the hassles of flying.
So, any luggage tags we have, are in the trunk, or in our hotel room.
Not much exposure.

This is what I'm talking about for the key chain ones. 2 sides, front and back. Luggage tags will be all on 1 side. I'll make some samples up soon and post them. depending on how much they are....I'd take a couple.. Steve

I, too, like the "Photo Shop" design.
It says it all.
Might I make a suggestion?
There needs to be a tail number, but I would suggest, Pat, that you go one tail number beyond the last Six produced.
That way no former Sixer will be offended, or at least shouldn't be, because a tail number from another squadron was used, and it would be an indication of what might have been.

I like Jim Too's idea and comments, and the last design you show. I'll bump my order up to 5. Just let me know where and/or when.
Have a great holiday, and a super Christmas

I was thinking maybe the speed record setter, but we could go with a fictitious one as well.

To do the last one flying would be difficult as 010 and 130 both landed at DM from the Eclipse project on May 12, 1998, where as 043 arrived on March 4, 1998. So there were actually 2 that had air under their wings after 043. (Info from F106 Linage site.) :us_flag

why not just go with the speed record holder? It would have the most significance to everyone, without particular allegiances to squadrons, birds worked on, etc.
Or just go to the NON NUMBER, like 00000, or 99999. But I think the speed holder would look much more realistic.
