Thanks, was wondering when they would correct that error on the 318th coin. I was given my two coins years ago by an old friend named Dale Dressler who I worked with and supervised while in the 318th FIS. 1975-78. BTW is was only because of this site that Dale and I reconnected. My next video is going to be on SAC. I can hear it now - Yea, I created those coins back in May/June 2008 for Chris Barni. I sent him only a few of those first run samples which had the errors and then I had them corrected before the production run. Chris must know Dale or something and he ended up with them.

I remember noticing the error when they came out in '08. So where can we get them now? It's been on my want list since I first saw them, and I've never been a big coin guy!

All I have is the 318th FIS coin with the error. Dale sent me two and I gave one to my Daughter who is a Jet Engine Technican and a 1St SGT. I also have a 712th AMS - C-17 Coin from Dover AFB. My Daughter designed this coin and it was adopted. I've posted some of her art work and the coin in other threads. Yes, yes, yes, Dad is very proud of his girl.

Could not sleep tonight. Have a cold and fell asleep earlier watching "Tora, Tora, Tora" So to kill time I made another video. After I got it all done and remembered I forgot to write down the credits for the photos. Gene has given me the OK to use his pictures and many are his and mine. Some are public USAF and some are from members on our site. If anyone sees a picture they took and wants me to give them credit then just message me. I'll keep this just for us and my family for 48 hours. If nobody messages me then I'll share the link with friends. This is not a public youtube link but unlisted. At least for now. Please share it with your family and friends. It took awhile to decide on the music and find a Klaxon Sound. Coments much welcomed. Hey Gary; excellent work. Loved it. Can I fwd the link to it to my museum buddies? Jim

Hey! I just saw one of my pics in there! I missed it during my first viewing.
Oh gosh, thanks Gary! What an honor to be included in the credits of USAF Veterans, and not "some punk kid in CAP"!!
Still love the music.
BTW, my good friend Mark Harlin took the photo of the Dart with alert hangers with the "Defenders of MAC" in the background. He also recorded the takeoff sound used on Pat's home page. He loves it!

Thank him for me.
Plus thanks to all for the comments and the education on the two different ADC patches. I like to point out history like that in these videos.
My next video will likely be SAC.

Will it be the truth or will I need to find the snow goggles we used to wear at Loring so the SAC bullshit won't blind me again after all these years (42ndBomb Wing bullshit)

Wow "Snow Goggles" Out in my shop in a draw I have old goggles. Just the other day I was wondering where the hell did I get them. Now I recall, it was Griffiss AFB,NY. Use to get those lake effect storms and we had to go out often and help the crew chiefs clean snow off the aircraft. Never got any help doing my jet engine work. Thanks for shaking loose the memory.
