I know a lot of you got this e-mail but I thought I'd post it here too.
(Edit - I probably should have put this in the "In Memory Of" section.)

I realize that this is a long shot but here goes.
My name is Tom Troy. I would have been the brother in-law of A2C James F. Alexander who was stationed at Griffiss AFB from Dec 1957 until going to Loring AFB 7,Oct 1959 until June 1960, when he died in a car crash.
I am in the process of creating 3 memory boxes for his 3 children, none of whom really knew him when he died. The oldest was 4.
I doubt that you knew him but any assistance or information that you may be able to offer would be greatly apprecited. I am mainly trying to find memorabilia for the 27th FIS or 606th CAMSQ. I know that he was trained to work on the F-106 Dart.
His wife, my sister, provided me with all of the records & paperwork that she has kept all of these years so there is quite a bit of information at my disposal if you have any questions.
Again, I realize that this is a long shot but thanks for anything that you can do.
thanks, Tom
