I sure hope he is not taken alive. With his extensive police record I do not see why he was ever released.

I can't hold with that. He is most deserving of the death sentance. He is surely a career killer. Rape, robbery, & murder with weapons. Here is an idea that is long over do. Those of us that desire death sentances should pay lower taxes. All who want life sentances should pay much higher taxes to pay for the room and board of these career killers. That same deal should also apply to illegal immigration. Those that favor aministy should pay higher taxes for them. Us that do not support illegals pay much lower taxes. That is fair. Is it not? If you want it, you pay for it. See how many people quickly change their ideas when it hits their wallet. Very good question! I believe the answer is yes for a few. I also believe peer-pressure effects some. Example - joining a gang. I think my brother was born bad. He has been in and out of jail over and over. Stealing, drugs, and arrested for involuntary manslaughter involving the death of our Dad. Some people just fall easy into crime. Pre-programed? This career killer of those police officers needs a firing-squad.

The problem with our justice system is there is very little fear in one getting caught doing just about anything bad. Our justice system is so slow, so inadequate, so screwed up there is nothing to deter criminals. If they had the fear of suffering a Thailand prison or Philippines prison or some other countries prison that treats you like a gutter rat you are for committing such hennas crimes, there just might be some deterrent to stop some of this crap.
While i suppose it's possible (won't say it's impossible), I don't believe babies are born bad. Born addicted to drugs, yes. Born with physical and mental incapacity, yes. But born mean and ruthless with no regard for life? Not a chance, unless it is because of the above incapacities like a piece of their brain missing or deceased or something. But even then I doubt one could go through their whole life so far under the radar nobody would notice.
I firmly believe its society that turns people.
Everyone must be responsible for their actions and take responsibility to act properly. If not, then let the chips fall where they may.
I hope he is not captured alive. That's why I would not make a good cop... shoot first ask questions later.

about '70 i was working for the local elks club. we used to play softball at McNeil island pen. that where they shipped everybody when they closed "the rock"... that was about the meanest place I've ever been... they checked you out very throughly in and out.. there was no smiling faces...although they had a put put golf course and cable t.v.(which was rare in those days)... it was a real eye opener... i got to meet some very vicious people( one of the detractors of being there.. the only people that survive there are the roughest and street smartest... prison breeds a form of being that makes the normal pesron prey.

HOPE that he has at least 8 bullets in him and that the deputy that shot him doesn't have to go on administrative leave while all the A-hole "do gooders" lament the loss of such an asset to society................. ;D ;D ;D The Old Sarge
EDIT CORRECTION.........Huckabee didn't relase the guy, he commuted his sentence from either 95 or 108 years (depending on who you listen to) to 47 years.............. It was the Arkansas Parole board that released him..Also, why was he out on 150,000 bail for teenage rape in Washington......... Might just as well blame the ammo maker - makes as much sense..................... Or his mother for giving birth to him...........

He got the justice he deserved. Saves the taxpayers lots of money.
Now the police are rounding up all who helped him.

While at the NCO academy at Norton in 1990 we heard on the radio where a school security officer shot and killed a rapist on school grounds at 5am, he was attacking one of the cafeteria workers. one shot right between the eyes, radio announcer gave the security officer a BIG thumbs up for a job well done :thumbsup . the next day the city wanted to hang the the guy for shooting the bad guy!!, the town went crazy and backed the security officer and even bailed him out, the city eventually dropped the case. Even the city attorney said the guy saved the city thousands of dollars in court cost, jail fees etc all with a .50 bullet :thumbsup

Jeff, I graduated the Academy in Fed 1989. We were almost class mates. I was a pain-in-the-A$$ for the instructor at the academy. Long story, save it for another time.
